I Don't Want to Wait for Our Lives to be Over

Yes. That is the Dawson's Creek theme song. This show originally aired in 1998 I believe and unfortunately at the time, I was a bit too preoccupied trying to help Steve solve Blue's Clues to watch this teen-soap. Thanks to the wonderful invention of DVDs, I am now able to enjoy this show in all its wonder. And fall madly in love with Joshua Jackson but that's a whole other story. I am currently in the third season and while I firmly believe that Dawson and Joey are soul mates, something tells me she's meant to be with Pacey. I don't know for sure so don't tell me! I need to find out on my own. I do love Pacey but I think Joey needs Dawson and viceversa. So I guess I'll take Pacey! Anyways, this show sparked my newest obsession: Katie Holmes. She's so freaking gorgeous and I don't think I'll ever get over that. Her daughter, Suri Cruise, is like a mini version of her only like ten times more diva. I adore Katie's simple dress in the show and the dark lipstick. But then again that comes in the territory of being a show from the 90s. While I haven't been as keen to adapt her fashion choices (is it me or is she totally wearing mom jeans all the time??), I am trying her makeup on for size. I love the dark lip as I already said and I've been trying to incorporate this into my look. I also love her hair in its (once again) simplicity. It's gorgeous straight and plain. Well I guess plain was the look that was meant to be achieved but truthfully it's breathtaking. I cannot get over Katie Holmes! I love the movie First Daughter. If you haven't seen it and love Katie, you must! It's very sweet (albeit somewhat cliche) and I love it. I definitely recommend it! Anyways here are some more pictures of the fabulous Katie!
